Calling all teens (grades 6-12)! Talcott Free Library wants to hear from you. Help us make decisions on teen programming, book choices, and more, while earning volunteer hours by joining our Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Former and new members in grades 6-12 are welcome.
Do you like to write short stories, poetry, or prose? Come share your work and get feedback from other writers like you. Optional writing prompts will be provided. Sharing is not required, but it sure is fun! Open to grades 6-12.
A group for knitters and crocheters around Rockton, IL. We come together at the Talcott Free Library once a month to share ideas and projects, learn something new, show what we know, and sometimes just to knit and crochet with friends and neighbors. An open book club that comes together once a month to talk about different books on a single topic. We choose the topic, you choose the book. Come in and select a book from our TFL Book Club Recommendation Shelf or choose a title on your own. Meetings are on the first Monday of the month 1-2pm.
