OverDrive App for NOOK

I’ve had my NOOK Color for a few years
now, and I love it. Naturally, I use it to check out eBooks and
audiobooks from www.omnilibraries.org
my local OverDrive-powered library. Previously, the process involved
sideloading the files onto the device from my computer using a USB cable. But
since October, the availability of
the OverDrive Media Console app in the NOOK Apps storefront has
made the process so
much easier. Now I can check out eBooks and MP3 audiobooks wirelessly—no need
for a computer at all.

 

Once you install OverDrive Media
Console for Android on your NOOK, accessing your library’s digital collection
is a snap. The Android-based app will work with NOOK HD/HD+, NOOK Color, or
NOOK Tablet. All you need is a library card and an WiFi connection.
