Tax Counseling For the Elderly – Certified Volunteers offer Tax help
Free income tax help for elderly will again be available starting January 30, 2023. The assistance will be administered by Tax-Aide volunteers trained by the Internal Revenue Service. Tax assistance has been sponsored by AARP through the IRS for over 25 years. Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) volunteers assist elderly, low- and middle-income taxpayers, at locations in their own community, at no cost. Days and times of service may change, and an appointment is required. The following is a list of sites in our area, with appointment times and phone numbers.
